Facebook Cover Video Pricing & Early-Adopter Promotion
If you haven’t seen it, watch this video. It shows how we can turn still images into stunning Facebook Cover Videos.
What does it cost to produce a Facebook Cover Video?
Let’s quickly review the 10 phases we go through to create your Facebook cover video:

In order to do all this, we start with a base project price and work our way up based on the number of change and special effects requested. As a rule-of-thumb, consider budgeting $30 for each image in your video. For instance, our Project-10 base package is $295 and includes the first 10 images. If you want to feature 30 images in your video, this means you will want to budget $295 (base w/ 10 images) + $600 (20 more images @ $30 ea.) for a total of around $895. The actual price will vary depending on the complexity of the effects used, and again the number of change requests.
Because Facebook limits cover videos to 90 seconds, 30 images is a good limit because you want to allow time for your Branding intro clip and your CTA (Call-To-Action) exit clip.
FYI – Our Project-10 base package price can actually cover the total cost of producing a very professional, finished video, if your marketing message can be told with 10 images or less.
But let’s say your marketing message could really use 30 images to be effective, we also have a special deal on a 30 image project package. It’s special because instead of paying the rule-of-thumb estimate of $895, we’re currently knocking off $200 during our early-adopter promotion.
This means you get a 30 image project package for only $695 and your final video is likely to fall within budget. Of course, if you ask for extras, that will cost extra.
“Would you be more inclined to see a movie because you saw its
(still image) movie POSTER or (video) movie TRAILER?”

Please note it is very difficult to offer a firm price on a project that has infinite options and possibilities. As another rule-of-thumb, the more motion you see in a video, the longer it takes to produce. Additionally, the more complex the motion, the more production time is required.
What this really means is, to stay in budget, on videos with a lot of images and complex motions, we need to nail it the first time. In other words, with that much action going on, making changes can eat up time.
*All project packages assume you will provide hi-res images and a hi-res version of your logo.
*Typically, you would provide at 2 images for every one that will be used, and we will choose the best one.
*To make it easy, if you can not provide your own music track, we will provide a music track of our choice for free.
720p and 1080p HD format options:
Your video is being delivered to you in the exact size and format Facebook recommends. The Facebook best-practice size is NOT a standard video format but since that is what they recommend you turn in, that’s what we give them.
If you would like a version of your video in the 720p HD format, the most popular HD size used everywhere else on the Internet (i.e. like YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn and even in regular Facebook posts), we can provide that service for a nominal $20 conversion cost. If you want it in the higher **1080p HD format, the cost would be $25.
For this low price, we need to do the conversion while we are working on the project. Doing it down the road will cost approximately twice as much because we have to reset workstations.
Ask about this when you place your order.
**The 1080p HD option is only available if the master content supports it.
